Lunar Fortune Challenge
ARTICLE 1
Brussels Airport Company NV/SA, with registered office at BluePoint Brussels, Boulevard Auguste Reyerslaan 80, 1030 Brussels, Belgium, with company number 0890.082.292 (RPR/RPM Brussels) and with place of business at Brussels National Airport 1M, Compass Building, 1930 Zaventem, Belgium ('BAC'), and United Airlines are organising a contest without purchase obligation, which will start on 01/02/2024 and end on 15/02/2024 at 23:59.
ARTICLE 2
Participation in this contest is open to all individuals aged 18 or over, except for staff members of BAC and its partners, advertising agencies engaged by BAC and any other persons who worked on setting up the current contest.
The following persons are also excluded from participating in this contest: family members in the first degree of the persons listed in the previous paragraph, as well as persons residing at the same permanent address as the persons listed in the previous paragraph.
By entering the contest, participants will be deemed to have accepted these contest rules.
ARTICLE 3
For any entry into the contest to be valid, participants must go to https://happyholidays.brusselsairport.be. On this page, they have to answer two multiple choice questions where they choose between three possible answers to each question. At the end, the participants fill in the sorting question and choose whether they would like to be kept informed about offers from Brussels Airport and/or Hainan Airlines.
All incomplete entries will be excluded from the contest.
ARTICLE 4
A maximum of 2 winners will be selected.
The winners will be selected as follows: The participant who answers both questions correctly and answers the tie-breaker question with the closest number to the correct answer will win the first prize, being a voucher for a duo round-trip ticket on a direct Hainan Airlines flight from/to Brussels Airport from/to Beijing or Shenzhen, valued at € 2,000.00 . In the event of a tie, the person who participated first (i.e. the earliest) will be declared the winner.
The second prize is a Brussels Airport goodie bag. This prize will be awarded to the person who answers both questions correctly and answers the tie-breaker question with the second closest number to the correct answer. In the event of a tie, the person who participated first (i.e. the earliest) will be declared the winner.
The winners will be chosen under the supervision of bailiff Eric De Belder, judicial officer based in 2200 Herentals, Sint-Jobsstraat 21. The winners will receive a personal confirmation by email. In the absence of a response to this notification within 30 calendar days, BAC reserves the right to withdraw the prize and designate another person as the winner.
ARTICLE 5
The winners of the contest will win the following prize(s):

Grand prize: 1 Hainan Airlines duo ticket for a round-trip in economy class from/to Brussels Airport from/to Beijing or Shenzhen.
- The voucher can only be used for direct flights from/to Brussels Airport from/to Beijing or Shenzhen.
- The voucher must be used by 2 people travelling together. 1 of these people must be the winner.
- The voucher is nominative and non-transferable.
- Availability of flights is limited, especially during school holidays and other peak periods.
- Flights can be booked up to 1 year in advance.
- Bookings must be made by 31 December 2024.
- All conditions relating to the booking of the flights are stated on the voucher. The winner should take these conditions into account.
- Tickets cannot be changed once booked and confirmed.
- The value of the voucher is € 2,000.00.
- Second prize: a Brussels Airport goodie bag (containing a pair of socks, a smurfs’ drinking bottle, sunglasses, a luggage scale, and a small travel bag, valued at € 50,00).
Prizes are not exchangeable, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred to a third party. BAC reserves the right to provide a prize equivalent in value to the stipulated prize.
ARTICLE 6
Each person can only enter the contest once. The same person may not participate with different email addresses. Moreover, only one prize can be awarded per person, (email) address, and IP address. The same person can win the first prize in one of the online contests organized by BAC only once per calendar year.
ARTICLE 7
BAC will always have the right to exclude a person from participation in this contest or any other (future) contests, in the event of a breach of one of the contest rules or in the event of (suspected) abuse, fraud or entry into a contest in bad faith. BAC may also do so if the designated winner does not respond to the notification, as stipulated in Article 4.
ARTICLE 8
BAC reserves the right to amend the contest or the procedure in the event of unforeseen circumstances or if circumstances beyond the control of BAC warrant this. BAC cannot be held liable for any interruption, postponement or cancellation of the contest as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
ARTICLE 9
BAC reserves the right to communicate about the contest and its winners, including for marketing purposes. By entering, participants agree that if they win a prize, their picture, name and place of residence may be announced on the social media pages, the website and any other digital or analogue channels operated by BAC and United Airlines.
ARTICLE 10
BAC cannot be held liable for any loss, physical injuries or accidents that could occur because of winning a prize and/or participation in a contest.
BAC cannot be held liable for printing, spelling, typographic or other errors, or technical issues (related to the internet, email, etc.).
ARTICLE 11
Participants expressly agree that BAC and United Airlines will process the following personal data for the administration of this contest : full name, age, e-mail address, personal address and telephone number.
If participants have granted their express consent by ticking the box provided for that purpose, BAC will be authorised to contact the participant about promotions, offers and contests, a.o. via its newsletters.
BAC will treat personal data in accordance with the relevant regulations. By submitting personal data, participants expressly agree to the collection and processing of these personal data by BAC in accordance with its privacy statement, which is available from the following website: https://www.brusselsairport.be/en/privacy-policy.
Participants will at all times be able to access their personal data, have their data corrected or deleted, or object to the processing of their personal data. They can do so simply by sending an email to privacy@brusselsairport.be.
BAC will provide the following personal data of the winner(s) of the contest to Hainan Airlines: full name, age, e-mail address, personal address and telephone number. In such case, both BAC and Hainan Airlines will act as “data controller”. Hainan Airlines will solely use such personal data in accordance with the relevant regulations and its privacy statement, which is available from the following website https://www.hainanairlines.com/HUPortal/dyn/portal/DisplayPage?LANGUAGE=GB&COUNTRY_SITE=BE&SITE=CBHZCBHZ&PAGE=PPOL. Hainan Airlines will not use such personal data for any other purposes, including direct marketing, unless to the extent the participant has provided his/her explicit consent thereto.
ARTICLE 12
The mere participation in this contest implies acceptance of the present contest rules without any reservation. No disputes will be accepted concerning the wording of the questions or the answers thereto.
ARTICLE 13
These contest rules are governed by Belgian law.
Any dispute relating to these contest rules which cannot be solved amicably between the parties shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch-speaking courts of the judicial district of Brussels, Belgium.
